An investigation to determine the best methods of conducting business In thc Salt Lake postofflce will bo held wit'.iin the next few weeks by a special committee commit-tee of postofflce officials rccuntly appointed ap-pointed by Postmaster Goncral Albert S. Burleson. In addition to Investigating the business methods of the local office, suggestions will be made to assist the postmaster In putting into operation such changes as may bc found feasible. r. P. Johnson and C. M. Perkins, members mem-bers of the committee, arrived In Salt Luke yesterday from Seattle. Investigations Investi-gations conducted In Seattle, San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Portland and Spokane rcsultc1 In changes being made which proved beno-llcial beno-llcial to the postal service. Following the investigation In Salt Lake suggestions sugges-tions will bo made to the postmaster general with reference to procuring greater great-er efficiency, if possible, In l.ie "entire poslolflce force. It Is probable the work will consume throe or four weeks' time, during which a special office in the federal building will be given for the use of the officials. In addition to T. P. Johnson nnd C.
