Park City district made an advance of 275 feet In the month of February. "When the heaviest flow was struck it entered the tunnel from tho top, bottom and sides under prcssuro at the rate of 6500 callon3 a minute. The flow ban now settled down to an apparently appar-ently normal flow, about 5500 gallons a minute, coming mostly from tho bottom of the tunnol at various points. The face of the tunnel Is now In com-pnra com-pnra lively dry CTOuud, which is firm and requires no timbering, and twelve to fourteen four-teen feet a day Is being made with two shifts. The tunnel is now in 7000 feot from tho portal, which 1b on tho Provo river side. IU; tolul length when completed com-pleted will be 14,300 feet. |
