Show MEASLES PREVALENT THROUGHOUT CITY Measles and smallpox, almost In epidemic epi-demic form, ran the record of contagiouH and Infectious diseases up- to 108 lest week, according to the report of the board of health Issued yesterday. There were 101 cases of measles reported and lifty cases of smallpox, eight of scarlet fever, one of diphtheria, two of whooping whoop-ing cough, three of chlckcn-pox and throe of mumps. Fifty-one births were reported during tho week, twenty-four being boys and Iwonty-Pftven girls. The denlh record totaled thirty-two, nineteen being males and thirteen females. Six bodies were brought to Salt Luke for burial. |
