Lool'bourow in tho district, dis-trict, court vcslorday morning aud the prisoner was released. Attorneys for Fraiu-is charged that tho chief of police had infringed upon tho prisoner's constitutional rights by refusing to allow him to confer -with counsel and refusing to iilo a complaiut. Friday an order was entered removing Francis from thrj custody of tho police to the cut tody of the sheriff so that he raicht communicate with his lawyer. t l'urrhcr hearing -was continued until Saturday morning when the city attorney attor-ney acquiesced to tho issuance of the writ and Francis ivhs discharged, IIo was arrested in connection with a robbery rob-bery committed last Tuesday nigbl.
