Show A HONEY PRIZE. Workmen Discover Unusual Honeycomb While Remodeling Ogden Residence. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Aug. 30. A solid mass of j honeycomb sixteen Inches in width, twelve root Jong and averaging four Inches In thickness, was the valuable prize discovered by carpenters whllo making some Improvements at the home of Mrs. Adelaide Angel, 126 Poplar avenue, ave-nue, rccentlv. Tho comb was, for the most part, filled with delicious honey and occupied all of the space between two studding from the sill to the roof, the bees having extended their operations opera-tions to the space under the roof. Some of the lioney had been stored In past seasons, but n very large portion of It was of very fine quality. Mrs. Angel was generous with her new-found stock- of sweets, nil of her neighbors rc-i-clvlng a large slice of the delicacy. Had the lioney been placed on the market It probably would have hrought almost $100. |
