Bacr today definitely agreed to continue con-tinue as president of the Reading system sys-tem and all of its sjlied corporations, inclurlintr the Temple Iron company, better known as the coal trust. Mr. Baer will be 70 year of age Hen-tember Hen-tember 26, and under the rule would retire on that date. The combined directorates of all the Reading companies, in which Mr, Baer sits as the executive head, joined in a requebt that be continue his active participation in their affairs and today to-day he signified his willingness to do so.
