Twenty additional ad-ditional teams have been put to work on the state highway between this city ami Wlllard during the week, and the work of finishing the eight miles of uncompleted uncom-pleted state road between Hot Springs and Brlgharn City Is progressing rapidly. Information has reached the officials of this county that the ?50,000 state appropriation ap-propriation for road purposes has been released for uso and that Box lDlder's share of Sit". 000 will soon be available to build a road from Snowvllle to the east boundary line of Nevada. Good results were obtained by tho officials offi-cials of Davis, Wobor and Box IClder counties upon their recent visit lo Elko county. They met with the county commissioners com-missioners of that and other Nevada counties and discussed a state highway across that state to connect with the Utah highway, which will eventually form a link in the transcontinental auto road. Commissioner Blackburn said yesterday yes-terday thai the Nevada officials acted according to the wishes of the Utah officials, of-ficials, and have now designated a highway high-way across Nevada. |
