At a late hour yesterday the body of . an aged woman, Mrs. Margaret If. Olson, was found In her room In the old John Anderson An-derson building on Seventh South and Main streets by a neighbor, Mr. Usslng. who resided in the same building. Mrs. Olsen had been regarded as a peculiar character by her neighbors there and on Second East, where she formerlj' resided. She was over 80 years of ago and remained re-mained In seclusion slncn her husband died, ten or twelve years ago. Usslng missed the woman for two days and became be-came alarmed. Going to her room and, receiving no answer to His call, and finding the door locked, he started an investigation. in-vestigation. He. gained entranco by removing re-moving the hinges of a door and found the woman lying on the floor dead. Official Offi-cial Investigation proved that death was natural. Mrs. Olsen had no living relatives and Postmaster Lcrcnzo Anderson was her appointed guaTdlan. Her calate consists of $1850 cash, which Is on doposit In a bank In this city. Her household effects ef-fects were trifling. She could never be induced to make any disposition of her property by will, utterly refusing to sign papers. She was desirous of loavlng her money to the church, but would not make out the proper papers. The estate will bo probated by the stato of Utah. Funeral services will be held tomorrow In the Second ward meeting house. |
