As a result of this, the auditor refused to Ibsuo tho warrants for the monthly payroll for April. The difficulty has been overcom by the mayor and commission, who nave made arrnngomentH at the Farmers and Merchants bank or this city for an overdraft over-draft to take up all warrants now outstanding out-standing and those to bo issued to cover cov-er tho payroll and Kenoral expenses until un-til the taxes for 1012 ar available. Tho auditor etlmaten that It will tnke, Including the amount already overdrawn, over-drawn, between ?50 00 and J7000 to tide over until the taxes come in. |
