Laucford and Nelson, who liave secured se-cured a lease upon tho park for several vears to come. Since taking over the resort the lessees havo made no announcement an-nouncement of their intentions until now. but from information ivcn out yesterday the Salt Palace will become ono of tho important amusement ro-sorts ro-sorts of the intormountain country. The first thing tho new management did was to mako a general cleanup of tho entire resort and to plan improvements and now features in keeping with the kind of a resort; the' intend to establish. estab-lish. There will bo no bar, but in its nlaco will be clean, wholesome amusement amuse-ment features that will attract tho bettor bet-tor classes of patrons. The amusement features planned are to bo among the largest and most expensive- attractions over brought to tho state. Several of these are now being considered, the first of which will bn engaged in lime for the opening of the season on Decoration Deco-ration day. Others will follow as tho season progresses, and all will bo of tho highest and most refined character. That Salt Lake will be more widely advertised than ever beforo as a result of tho activities at the saucer track is certain. This will insure the iutcrest of tho entire sporting world upon Salt Lake.
