OCR Text	Show Tiger W!io Spikss Fan's Hat But Pays for Sine Damage TYRTJS COBB. PHILADELPHIA, Pa.. Jul' 30. Tyrus Cobb has displayed a little b-man b-man touch that endeared him to the local fans. Flo leaped over the right field ropes and pulled down a long drive of Murphy's. After the amo some of the players thought Cobb was having an argument. Instead Tyrus was handing hand-ing $5 to tho man whose hat ho had spiked when he jumped over the ropes. The fan was offered $10 for his hat by an enthusiast who wanted it as a memento, but he said he would keep it for that purpose himself. Several other fans tried to buy the $5 bill Cobb had paid, but the recipient said ho was going to frame it. Cobb was given a salvo of cheers when tho crowd learned of tho episode.
