Show EAGLES OFFICIATE IT PRY FIE! Services Over Well-Known Man Are Held in This City. Impressive funeral services for Walter S. Berry were held In tho Eagles' lodge rooms of this city at 2 o'clock yesterday yester-day afternoon. Berry had belonged to Mldvnlo aerie No. 132(1, F. O. E., for a numbor of years nnd, according to his wish, this lodge conducted tho funeral services. He was also a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and this fraternity assisted with tho services. Tho services wero held in this city because be-cause better facilities wero to bo had here by the Eagles than in Midvale. Worthy President. Axel II. Steele presided pre-sided and A. F. Ellis, chaplain, offered n prayer. The Rev. Peter A. Slmpkln was the principal speaker, and George Ycadon, vice president of the Mldvnlo aorle, spoke of Berry as he hud known him. Poll's quartette furnished music for the occasion. The pallbearers were J. E, Ekman, J. II. Brown. G. A. Jenkins, C. O. Robinson, C. M. llartwcll and W. M. Smnllwood. Tho remains, accompanied by a largo number of Eagles and Trainmen, will leave for Sprlngvllle at 7:50 o'clock tills morning on a special car where interment inter-ment will take place. |
