Show COURT IS OPENED AT SALMON CITY Many Liquor Cases Dismissed on Motion of County t Attorney. Special to The Tribune. SALMON CITY, Idaho, April 23. The spring term of district court, Judge J. M. Stevens presiding, convened on Tuesday. Tues-day. More than a score of liquor cases wero dismissed on motion of the county nttorney. Two criminal assault, cases, on a change of venuo from FremonL county, coun-ty, will bo heard next Tuesday. A. Holden of Idaho Falls is representing the accused. The Gllmore & Pittsburg Railroad company com-pany has dismissed several condemnation condemna-tion suits for right of way up tho Salmon river. This is construed to mean that futuro construction work will be down the river to Lewistown. Ten flat boats aro being built here, each with a carrying capacity of twelve tons, to convey the two complete dredg-liy? dredg-liy? outfits, electric motors, water motors, hydraulic pumps and other machinery belonging be-longing to the Salmon River Mining company com-pany to the placer grounds, about 14fi miles down the river from Salmon City. Tho Salmon River Mining company is a Philadelphia concern. J. R. Painter Is manager and II. Kohlman, an electrical engineer from Philadelphia. Is tho local representative of tho company Captain Harry Gulcke, the experienced river man, will have charge of the licet jof boats. Each boat will have at least two men. Aeon's ranch, where tho freight will be unlonded, is on the other side of the box canyon, the passage through which was formerly considered dangerous, but Guleke has made the trip safely on several sev-eral occasions. Fruit-growers and orchardlsts say that no damage has been .done this season to the fruit In Lemhi county. Within the past few days more than $8000 worth of nursery stock has been unloaded here.
