Show WOMEN'S BOWLING IN SECOND HALF Women's bowling schedule has reached the end of the first half. All the teams have uniforms. In previous reports we described costumes of teams one, two and five. Team No. 3, with Mary Zac-caria, Zac-caria, Babe Dowdell, Goldie Wilson, Wil-son, Lois Barlow and Fudgie Ja-cobson, Ja-cobson, have their new uniforms, black gabardine slacks with white crepe waists, long full sleeves and their names embroidered em-broidered on the poskets. Team No. 4 also has their costumes, cos-tumes, dark green slacks, white waists, dark fjreen boleros with Galena Gals embroidered across the back. Teams No. 2 and No. 6 hope to start off the second half in their outfits. Team No. 3 holds high honors for the first half, having won 33 games and losing only 7- Babe Dowdell still holds high average, 152 7; high series, 515, and high game, 196. Team No. 1, Mable Boberg, Elvira Wolfe, Fae Hancock, Ruth Granquist and Ida Boiman were second with 24 games won, 16 lost. Team No. 4, Ann Marks, Ann Bolic, Helen Marks, Rose Rose-quist Rose-quist and Harriet Bolton are third with 22 games won, 18 lost. Team No. 5, Dolores Stoker, Midge Jensen, Marian Johnson, Agnes Johnston and Kay Braun won 19, lost 21. Team No- 2, Etta Sullivan, Jean Houston, Marge McNeilis, Wilma Johnsen, Delia Della-Lucia and Isabel Larick won 18, lost 22- Team No. 6, Maxine Gaythe-waite, Gaythe-waite, Mem Robison, Ruth Kidd, Jerry Ablett and Ethel Granning won 12 and lost 28- Second half; play will begin January 9, when the women' will be bowling in the Queen's bowling bowl-ing , contest. i : 4.' |
