Wyoming, oil Held on Thursday came some extremely good news for the Salt Lake stockholders of the Texas King Oil and Gas company. This was that well' No. 1 bad been shot and oil was struck at a. depth of 763 feet. Tho well was shot early yesterday morning, and for a period of six minutes tho oil was hurled for 100 feet or more above the lop of tho derrick, showing an unusuul amount of gas. When the local offices received tho message yesterday the oil was flowing In good quantity over the top of the casing, cas-ing, and the estimated production for the first day was between 150 and 200 barrels. This is tho typical rich oil'-of that section, having a parafnno base, and being In demand at a good figure right at the well. The Texas King company Is composed of well-known Salt Lake and Wyoming capital, and the company has been hard at work for sonic time.
