FOUIES FOR IRE EW CBUMEHCIALCLUB Proposals to Supply TJiem Narrowed Nar-rowed Down to Two Firms; Cost to Be $60,000. v The furnishings of the new Commercial Club building will cosl between 55.000 and ?f!0.000. This Is a sum much greater than the original appropriation, which was SJO.OOO. Several bids were presented the committee com-mittee having the' matter In charge, and these have been carefully considered tor several days past, and the matter has now narrowed down to two firms. Moan Sc Co. of New York and Illlger & Co. of Chicago. , . The bid and scheme of bloan & Co. are said to bo the inosl elaborate, although the Chicago firm Is a close second, and It is duo lo thi fact that no final decision lias been reached. At a conference of the committee on Sundnv, It was determined to finally dispose dis-pose o'f the matter Monday, and to thai end the committee will convene again todav to-dav and the conirnut will boa warded.
