Show Utah People Called Mrs. Ellen Baldwin, wife of .T. H. Baldwin Bald-win of Monroe, Is dead. She had boon an invalid for several years. George Reardall died at his homo in Sprlngvllle. He was born on the plains while his parents were onroulc to Utah over the old emigrant trail. Mrs. Martha Olson of Spring Cltj passed away Sunday at the age of 78. Infirmities due to old age was the cause. Her husband died last December. Albert M. Baker, one of the first settlors set-tlors to enter the Cache valley, going there In 18S5, died at hi.': home in Mehdon. He was 75 years of age. Paralysis was the cause. lie had crossed the plains two limes by ox team. Mrs. J. H. Thurber. a promlent and well Known woman of southern Utah, died at the home of her daughter in New Castle, whore she was visiting, from paralysis. The body was taken to Richfield Rich-field for intcrmeiiL Mrs. C IT. Brown died at Cnstle Gate last week at the age of about 5t years. She is survived by a husband and a son by a former marriage. The young man has been away from home for some time and his exact whereabouts are unknown. At her home In Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. M'ariah Hansen, a pioneer of Sanpete county, passed away. She came to Utah In 1SG2 direct from Denmark. .She was eleven weeks In crossing the. ocean, ami came across the plains by ox team. Seven Sev-en children survive her. Rebecca Newell, who was born and raised In Provo, died at her home in Alberta, Canada, Wednesday. She was the daughter of tho late James Hardy of Utah county, and sister of James W. and C. II. Hardy and Mrs. Samuel Jones of Provo. Death was duo to .heart trouble. |
