Show EXECUTIVE CODICIL Of FEDERATION OF LABOR Sessions of the Slate Convention at Ogden Monday and Tuesday. Special to The Tribune. OGPK.V, Sept. 11!. The executive council coun-cil of tho Stato Federation of Labor, with President William M. Plggott and Secretary Secre-tary Austin Davis proM-nt. mot in the parlors of the Healy hotel this evening, to select the various committees for tho annual convention of the federation which meets in Ogden, Monday and Tuesday. Outside or the appointment or the committee com-mittee and the auditing of tho officers' books, no other business was transacted tonight. Some of the Important business, which will bo transacted during the convention, will be the Introduction of a resolution asking for the establishment of free municipal mu-nicipal .sanitariums and Tree employment bureaus In the larger cities of the state. The resolution regarding the fret- employ ment bureaus will carry a clause asmng that rigid Inspection lie made periodically of all licensed employment bureaus. Another An-other important matter, which will conic before the federation, will he the appointment appoint-ment of a. special committee to assist the state food commission in inspection of food stuffs. This matter was taken cognizance cog-nizance of by the federation owing to recent re-cent deaths and cases of poisoning, which are believed to have originated from the consumption of impure foods. The federation will meet twice each day in Union Labor hall, ;it fl a. in. ami 2 p. m. Social sessions will be held in the evcnhjjL Governor William Spry and Mayor ATI... Brewer, as Is the usual custom in other states, have beon invited to address the convention when it opens i tomorrow morning. A large attendance; of labor men from all parts of the stale Is expected.
