Mrs. Emily Tanner Wood, a noted loeturer and club .worker of Topeka, Kan., will deliver a lecture at Ban-ett hall Saturday, September 4, on the ' ' Brutality of Hypnotism." The lecture lec-ture will begin al S o'clock. All club women of the city, pastors of various churches and superintendents and teach-ors teach-ors of Sunday schools are cordially invited in-vited to be present. Tho lecture will bo given under the auspices of the Utah State Council of Women. Mrs. Wood arrived in the ci t3 Wednesday from Seattle. Wash., where she" attended (he convention of the International In-ternational Prison association, and is returning re-turning to her home in tho East. Sho has mado a systematic study of the child and the proper care and bringing up of childron. Sho is the wife of u newspnper editor of Topeka, and is also a cousin of Warden Pratt of the Utah state prison.
