B. Eiglcr. was locking the other side, the. engineer, through a misunderstanding of signals, sent tho car up, and Cliffs neck was broken as it struck the top. Eiglcr jumped clear as the car was hoisted, and escaped, but Clift could not Jump until it was too late. ,.J,?1,(nvhlSwtnc (lcalh of CIirt, the mine-was mine-was immediately shut down, the men were sent home, and It was announced that opt ot respect to the dead man operations' op-erations' would not be resumed until after the funeral. The funeral arrangements will be completed Saturday. Angus Clift was -JO years of age. and is survived by a widow and two children. vlnu- In Park City, and his parents, who live In Provo. Clift used to live in Heber City and is well known there. |
