Charges that Umpire Um-pire Klem deliberately acted as a conspirator, con-spirator, robbing the Cubs of any reasonable reason-able chance for victory at Pittsburg, Tuesday, were tiled ye3tcrday in a lengthy protest presented by President Murphy to .President Jleydler of the National Na-tional league. Not only did the owner of the West Side elub question the honesty of Klem, but, In an exhaustive manner, the protesting pro-testing magnate summed up the methods meth-ods which ho alleges are in vogue, which Klem uses in any game Involving the Cubs.
