Tho attending physicians aro wen satisfied with his condition. - The funeral of Private James D. Ma-hor. Ma-hor. laic private Company M, Fifteenth Infantry, was held this afternoon. An impressive funeral cortege escorted the body from tho post hospital to the cemetery, cem-etery, where services were conducted by Chaplain Clemens. During tho illness of Captain Smiley the Third battalion will bo commanded by Captain W.. IT. Cavouaugh. The period of practical iield-t raining is now at hand and tho various companies com-panies arc being daily instructed in Held exercises, advance guard formations, forma-tions, ojitpost drills and target practice. prac-tice. Mrs. Bricker, who has been visiting with friends and relatives in Indiana, will be back next Thursday or Friday. |
