A prettv home wedding of Thnrsda' evening was that, of Mis May Farley and Charles A. Shaw, which took place at tho homo of the groom's parents on Washington avenue. The rooms wero decorated with palms and carnations and about, sixty guests were present. A wedding supper whs served and during tho evening vocal solos wero given by Miss Martha Shaw and Mrs. Kd. Morris. Mor-ris. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw will make their homo in this cit3-. The large oveur. for next week is tho charitv ball to be given bv lhe ladies of the Martha society on Easter Mon-13' Mon-13' at the Congress dancing academy. The proceeds will be usel for tho general gen-eral charitv work of t he society. Much interest is" being manifcHted in the al-fnir al-fnir and a number of our of town people peo-ple will lie present. The officers in charge of the event are Mrs. ,J' .1. Kiesel, Mrs. IL. K. Spencer. Mrs. Abo Kuhn, Mrs. V.. A. Littlefield and Mrs. A. P. Bigelow. Mdss Bertha Kirk entertninod about j twenty guests on Tuesday evening at cards. The game was five hundred and prizes wero won bv Miss Edna Carev, Miss Louise Parker. Bert Sutton and Harold .lames. Ilvacinths and ferns wero used in the decorations. 'Miss Carrie Winston entertained the members of her card club on Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Tho Misses Mabel and Jessie Allen Al-len entertained the members of their sowing club this afternoon. Miss Nan Short came up from Salt Lako last night, to attend tho dance .given by the students of the Deaf and Blind school. Tho Tolstoi circle met last at the home of Mrs. Ruth Bassctr.
