Delmas, general manger of the Delmas Copper company, with offices of-fices in rooms II and 12 in the Central block, assaulted Edward J. Watts of S3G Palm avenue, who claims to be a director in the concern, at the entrance to the Atlas block about 1 o'clock Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. . The trouble came to nt head in a meeting at the company's offices in the Central block Saturday afternoon, of several experts who have been looking look-ing over the company's property at Palisade. Says Assault Was Unprovoked. Watts says the assault was unprovoked unpro-voked nnd made upon him without the slightest warning, but bystanders say that he saw tho blow coming and dodged dodg-ed tho first lick, but failed to get out of the way of the second. Delmas, after the assault, pursued his way to the experts' meeting. Varts. anticipating further violence from Delmas, Del-mas, feared to attend the meeting alone and demanded police protection.
