Show THIEVES LOOT HOME OF UNFORTUNATE STORY Conscienceless burglars broke into the in od ol little home at the north end of Camps 'lane, in North Salt. Lake, of James Story, who while drunk five weeks ago 'mistook Anlone Foster's home at 1124 West Fourth North street,, for his own. and was shot and killed by the excitable Frenchman, and stripped it of its contents, carrying away a bed, two mattresses, a pair of bed springs, .a hat rack, a cupboard, two frame pictures pic-tures and several other photographs. The goods were hauled away in a wagon. The burglary occurred four or five days ago, but was not discovered and reported to the police until Saturday Satur-day morning. The house is surrounded by eighteen inches of wateri and the thieves evidently drove up in a wagon and hauled the loot away. They entered en-tered bv the front door and look their time in' stripping the house, apparently knowing that it was unoccupied. Story, it will bo recalled, tried to kick in the front door of Foster's little general store, mistaking tho place for his home in his intoxication, and was sliot through the breast by Foster, after aft-er being warned away. |
