GEORGE HANCOCK GOES WITH CITY TREASURER Considerable surprise was manifested at Monday's meeting of the City Council when the name of Goorgo Hancock was sent in by City Treasurer Snyder as one of the men upon whom ho will lean during dur-ing the ensuing two years. Mr. Hancock Han-cock has been a valued employee of Cltv Auditor Alff's ofllce for tho past two years and it was not known that he contemplated making a change. When asked as to why he had transferred his affections, Mr. Hancock stated that he did so for purely private reasons, as he held Mr. Alff in the highest regard and their relations, had been of the most pleasant character.
