WORK ON THE KENNEBECK. Company Is Making for the Interesting Old Works on the Group, W. J. Craig, one of the heavy stockholders stock-holders in the Kcnncbeck property up at Alia, is back from looking over this group. The Kennebeck is one of tho old producers of tho camp, and the present owners arc doing a great deal of sincere development work, with the end in view ,of again placing it upon a producing basis. The prcsgnt work consists of a tunnel, which is making toward the old works, and connections should bo made within the next hundred hun-dred foot, Mr. Graig states tho tunnel, now in some 310 feet, is penetrating tho lime formation in which the ores make, and the presence of lead values lead the officials to expect results before long. , i
