His subject was "The Greatest Need in Human Life" which he declared was to actually act-ually have God in ones life and to build their lives around that achievement. Bishop S. Lawrence Moss, formerly bishop of the Orchard Or-chard and recently moved into in-to the Ninth ward will foe the speaker in sacrament meeting of the Ninth ward on Sunday evening, Jan. 12. Bountiful Church News An inspirational treat was afforded the members of the Bountiful stake when they were presented two outstanding outstand-ing movies produced by the auxiliaries of the church. The films were presented free of On Wednesday evening. Jan. 8, tryouts were held for three one act plays in the MIA of the Ninth ward. These plays will be presented as part of the activity program under the direction of Richard Siddoway and Mrs. Elmer Moss. Dance instruction was begun in the Ninth ward MIA on Wednesday evening, Jan. 8 under un-der the direction of the new dance directors, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Mortensen. The Junior M Men team of the Ninth ward is still having success in their games. They defeated a Layton team in a practice game on Monday evening. eve-ning. Girls athletic activity in both junior and senior division in the fields of swimming and basketball will begin in the Ninth ward in earnest on Saturday, Sat-urday, Jan. 11. |
