The effort will be to finish the road from Denver to Salt 'Lake in two years from the coming spring. The Western Pacific is pushing Us work with excellent progress. It is arranging ar-ranging its access to the business portion por-tion of this city, and It win not take long to connect the grading here with that dono already west of the point of the mountain. In the country at large, a better winter trade Is shown, but'accumulated stocks still on hand. Railway earnings for January show a gain of 16.6 per cent over last year.
