Mrs. Eugene Morris was presented with a lovely candlelit birthday cake, a surprise marking mark-ing her birthday anniversary. .4 The Wednesday Bridge club was entertained this week by Mrs. M. D. Starley. Prizes at cards were claimed by Mrs. Tory Tobiason and Mrs. Dorms Adams. On Monday evening Mrs. Starley was hostess to her Five Hundred foursome. Mrs. Wallace Sweat and Mrs. Louis Panas played high. A dinner in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Faddis was presided pre-sided over by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Robison at Sturm's cafe last Thursday evrning. Sweet peas and snapdragons were used as floral decorations and places marked for the honurees, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Pearson of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. William Allmark, and Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Grant. Bridge followed at the Robison home with Mrs. Grant and Mr. Allmark reccivin.", prizes and Mr. jand Mrs. Faddis being presented ' a volume of poetry, ''Between ' the Book Ends" by Ted Ma lone. j Firemen, Auxiliary t Hold Outing The No. 1 Firemen and aux- j iliary traveled to Dry Fork Mon- s day evening at six o'clock for the j annual picnic, planned by Mr. and l Mrs. William Cook, Mr. and Mrs. John Creedon and Mr. and Mrs. E Wilford H. Harris. A softball game was followed by a picnic l luncheon served to about forty j persons, grouped about a huge j bonfire. It was the sixth wedding anni-4 anni-4 versary of Mr. and Mrs. W. Dar-J Dar-J rell Kidd Sunday, and they C marked the event with a dinner J at their home that evening. A i centerpiece of Regal lilies com-J com-J bined with pink carnations made I the table attractive. Favors, fig-t fig-t urettes and perfume, were at places for the following: Mrs. Fanny Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Greene and daughter, Cheryl and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ablett. A balloon party Wednesday j afternoon at the home of Mr. and C Mrs. Gail Farnsworth was in cel- ebration of the eleventh birthday of their daughter. Gloria Farnsworth, Farns-worth, and was attended by 30 of her friends. A white birthday cake trimmed in pink and green set the color scheme for favors and table decorations. Winning prizes at games were Kenneth Hall, Katherine King and Douglas Doug-las Morris. Monday efning at Murray jity park a happy group, officers and teachers of the L. D. S. Bingham Bing-ham ward Sunday school and their families, enjoyed their annual an-nual picnic. Included in the 41 persons taking part in the games and program and enjoying lunch were Bishop David ('.
