Show SOCIAL PLANNED 1IY JAYCEES IN HONOR DELEGATES RETURN In celebration of receipt of the second place national project of the year award from the United States junior chamber of commerce com-merce and to welcome home Bingham's Bing-ham's delegates to the convention conven-tion at Washington, D. C, June 19-23, Past Presidents Dale Johnston John-ston and Elliott W. Evans, a meeting of the junior chamber of commerce will be held at Picnic Pic-nic Flats, Dry Fork, Tuesday, July 2, at 2 p. m. The award was given Bingham Bing-ham Jaycees for their sponsorship sponsor-ship of Galena Days, September 29 and 30, 1939. On the committee commit-tee to plan the canyon meeting are Orville Gray, Vaughan Benson, Ben-son, Walter Bolic and Jack Chris-tensen. J At a semi-monthly business meeting held Monday evening it was unanimously decided by Jaycees Jay-cees to enter a float in the Bingham Bing-ham Fourth of July parade and in the Covered Wagon days parade par-ade in Salt Lake City July 24. Joel Jensen was named chairman chair-man of the float committee and the entire organization membership member-ship is on the committee. The Bingham junior chamber will enter three projects in the Utah state junior chamber of commerce award competition at the annual state convention in Salt Lake City August 31, September Sep-tember 1 and 2. The projects are; Summer band, Galena Days and Americanism activities. ... . |
