Show nion, Mrs. Angus Christensen, Mrs. Louis Parkin, Mrs. W. T. Rogers and Mrs. Frank Davis. Scoutmaster Don Laycock chaperoned the Copperton scouts at a swimming party Wednesday evening at Saratoga. The party went in the scout bus and swimming swim-ming tests were passed. at South Jordan. An interesting program to which each ward contributed con-tributed a number was followed by luncheon. Those women attending at-tending from Copperton included: includ-ed: Mrs. Albert Cheever, Mrs. Fred Cox, Mrs. Paul Kuhni, Mrs. C. E. Poulsen, Mrs. Harry Brown, Mrs. Charles Sax, Mrs. B. D. Ben- LOCALS Pete D. Ruiz and Frances Gonzales, Gon-zales, both of Bingham, were married in Salt Lake City last Thursday, June 20. Mr. and Mrs. Merl Porter and two children, Charlotte and Doris, returned last Thursday from two weeks in Idaho Falls, visiting relatives, and in Wyoming, Wyom-ing, fishing. Sunday the Bingham Eagles softball team played at Tooele, losing 11-6. Another game was lost by the Eagles here Monday to the Bingham Radio team by a narrow margin, 1-0. Mr. and Mrs. II. R. Gust and family spent Sunday at Tooele and later enjoyed a picnic and swim at Black Rock. Guests of the family were Miss Peggy Peterson, Pe-terson, Gerald Larsen, Frances Fennell, Mack Maupin and Max Golesh. |
