ALLEGED GRAFTERS Suspicious Characters Arrested by the Folice. William Roberts and M. L. Morris, young men who bear evidences of being members of a gang of confidence men, doing a lucrative business In Salt Lake, were arrested Saturday morning by Police Po-lice Sergeant Roberts and Patrolman Emll Johnson. Roberts carried a phony roll and a bogus detectives' badge, such as have been used to "work" numerous victims of lato who were visiting In the city. The men arrested answer to the description de-scription of two of tho four who three nights ago robbed James Rico, a Wisconsin Wiscon-sin capitalist, of $400. but It Is doubtful if a case can be made against them as Rice Is understood to havo left tho city.
