Show RAWLINS EXCITED OVER MINING DISCOVERIES Special to The Tribune. RAWLINS, Wyo., June 11. Considerable Consid-erable excitement has been created here during the past few days over the discoveries in the Rawlins mining district dis-trict which tend to prove that within a few miles of this city some very fine bodies of ore are to be found. Experts have been scouring the country from the northern city limit ten miles out and they pronounce the Indications of tho best. m The Rankin mine, which for a few days was Idle, has resumed operations again. What Is believed to be the flip which will lead into a great body of hlgh-ghide ore has been struck. Inquiries arc received dally about the district and mining men arc coming com-ing here to make Investigation. It Is expected tliat n diamond drill will be Shipped here In the next few weeks and the flats nt the edge of the town will be prospected thoroughly. Within two miles of Rawlins Is the largest hematite mine In the United States.
