Show Would Disfranchise Idaho Mormons Radical Element in the Democratic Party Would Move in That Direction. Special to Tho Tribune. BOISE. Ida.. June 13. Chairman Donnelly of the Democratic State Committee is in Boise for the purpose of heading off the radical clement in the party, representatives of which it is learned hold a meeting here since the State convention and decided to press a resolution in the State nominating nom-inating convention at Lewiston asking for the disfranchisement of Mormons. Senator Dubois was advised of this movement und he sent the chairman here, it Is understood, to advise moderation. moder-ation. The Senator does not favor going go-ing farther at the Lewiston convention than the action called for by the Wei-ser Wei-ser declarations, excepting, perhaps, to adopt ringing resolutions condemning Mormon attempts to dominate the Slate politics. |
