Show NOTES OF INTEREST FROM FORT DOUGLAS In compliance with a request made by the post commander recently, fifteen men of the Second Infantry yesterday were transferred to the Twenty-ninth Infantry, These men belonged to the Twelfth cavalry, but were patients in the post hospital at the time of departure depart-ure of the regiment for the Pnillpplnes. They were eventually transferred to the Second infantry and lastly to tho fort regiments. They are nil desirable nun. Capt and Mrs. H. It. Perry and children chil-dren will leave tomorrow to visit friends and relatives in Illinois and New York. En route thoy wiii visit the World's Fair at St. Louis for one-month, one-month, Cnpt. G. H. Jamerson, commanding Company F. Twenty-ninth Infantry, has been granted an extension of one month to his leave already ln vogue. Capt. Jamerson and wife are visiting relatives ln the East. They will return to Fort Douglas to reside at the expiration ex-piration of his leave. With the coming of Chief Musician Frank X- Hcrric of the Twenty-ninth Infantry band, this musical organization organiza-tion is being rapidly filled with with good men. The band now numbers sixteen, six-teen, the latest acquisition being Alfred R. Macron, who arrived yesterday from the Philippines. The band Is hard at work with its dally rehearsals, and expects to be In position to render concert con-cert programmes within a few weeks. Hospital Steward William. C. Livingston Living-ston reported yesterday for duty, the seven-day furlong recently granted hlm having expired. Sergt. Livingston has' been gaming In the Northwestern States during his absence. |
