Sho had kindled tho kitchen fire, which had died out except a few coals, and pouring oil on thorn formed a gas which exploded and tho oil inside the can bocamo Ignited and exploded. In an instant she was wrapped In flames. A neighbor half a block away heard tho ex plosion ana saw mo smoito cumins rai tho house Ho ran to tho houso -and crawled about on his hands and kneofl In tho kitchen feeling for her, the smoko be-lnfc be-lnfc bo dense that he could not see. Tho injured woman was dragged out Into the yard, her clothing being burned off entirely and her eyes burned out. Sho was taken Into a nclghborlnghouso and for sovcral mlnuton phe walked about the room suffering Intensely. Tho accident occurred at 11 o'clock this morning. Sho regained, consciousness somo timo beforo death and mado several requests about tho funeral and disposition disposi-tion of her houoohold articles. |
