Show MEN CREMATED ALIVE Perish in a Wreck on the Canadian Pacific TWELVE MEN ARE KILLED Passenger Train Crashes Into Caboose of Work Train Car Is Overturned and Wreckage Takes Fire From Engine With Awful Results r St Paul l Minn May 7 Meager reports I re-ports have been received of a serious accident this morning at Dexter I a small station on the Canadian Pacific railway fifty miles west of Port Arthur Ar-thur In which twelve lives were lost A large number of laborers wore with a work train at Dexter whore they had been loading tics The train was ona aide track und the men wore at breakfast In the caboose or board the train A InS car at the end of passenger train crashed Into the caboose ca-boose where the men were eating overturning I the car and the wreckage caught fire almost Immediately from the engine fire Of the men In the car twelve were nstantly killed or burned to death In the wreckage whore they had been pinned by the overturning of the car Eight others were seriously Injured and others less seriously hurt The wreck Is for from means of relief re-lief and details of the accident are incomplete in-complete as the wires have been working work-ing badly and no means of further Information In-formation about the accident have been received |
