PORTO RICO DELEGATES South Sea Islanders Advised to Send Representatives r Washington Dec 12 The subcommittee subcom-mittee of the Republican National com I mittee appointed o consider the question ques-tion of representation in the National convention from Porto Itico held a session ses-sion this afternoon and instructed the representatives from Porto Rico In the manner of holding a convention In that Island for the purpose of selecting delegates dele-gates to the National convention The Porto Rlcans were Informed that the National committee lies no jurisdiction over membership in the National convention con-vention They were advised to send two delegates and two alternates to the convention con-vention The question of representation from the Philippines was not considered consid-ered
