i SHE CANNOT DRAW HER MONEY Eva Christensen Is Entitled to 440 Deposited by Her Husband r but Cannot Get It Because He Disappeared 1 The action brought by Eva Christensen Chris-tensen against Walker Eros bankers to recover 54JO on deposit In Walkers bank in the name of C E Dorsey the former husband of the plaintiff camo on for hearing before Judge Morse yesterday yes-terday I was shown that the plaintiff I by the decree of divorce had been awarded the 110 as part of her alimony but Dorsey had disappeared some years ago and with him the certificate of deposit de-posit and he has not been heard from since The supposition Is that he was I r I drowned but there was no proof to establish his death Judge Morae held I that the certificate of deposit might have been transferred to n third party I and It the holder presented It the bank would be obliged to honor It and Judgment i Judg-ment of nonsuit was entered against 1 the plaintiff The bank offered to pay Miss Chrlstonsen the money if she would furnish I an Indemnifying bond In double the amount of the deposit but she being unable to do so the money remains in the bank and is like ly to stay there unless some tidings of Dorsey are forthcoming and the certificate certifi-cate of deposit can be traced
