Boyd Nerdin iijEJl'S Takes Bride Rosella Miller, daughter of Mr. and MTs. F. A. Miller of Salt Lake City and Boyd Nerdin, son of Mrs. E. L. Jones of Salt Lake City, were married In the Salt L.D.S. temple Wednesday, July, 14. They will make their home in Salt Lake City. Mr. Nerdin is a Utah Copper employe. Both the bride and groom have many friends in Bing-ham Canyon. O ed by Reverend Martin Burke. The bride was given in marriage by Mike Pazell, brother of the groom, and was lovely in a gown of white satin with a halo veil of lace. She carried a bou-quet of lilies. Miss Katherine Pazell and Miss Aspacla Brown were the brides-maids. Mrs. Mike Stilling was ma-tron of honor and Mr. Mike Stil-ling was the best man. Nick and Steve Pazell were ushers. A reception was given at the Pazell home Monday evening. Four hundred guests attended. Out of town guests Included M.r and Mrs. Robert Oroo, Captain and Mrs. L. Fryer.Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kalm, Sergeant and Mrs. Lund, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mts. Pazell are mak-ing their home in Murray for the present. J Bruce Ivie Jr. and Escalante Miss Married An announcement of interest is made this week of the marriage of Miss Barbara Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee of Esca-lante, to Mr. Bruce Ivie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ivie of Bing-ham, Wednesday in Salt Lake City. The former Miss Lee is grad-uate of the University of Utah, class of 1937. Mr. Ivie has many friends in Bingham, Is a igraduate of the Bingham high school and a former student of the Univer-sity of Utah. He Is employed by the Utah Copper company. They will make their home in Midvale. O Miss Clara Christensen enter-tained the members of the Rebe-ka- h lodge at her home Tuesday evening. Installation rites for the following officers were held: Miss Clara Christensen, noble grand; Mrs. Mildred Downard, vice grand; Mrs. Frank Mead, 'secretary; Mrs. Carrie Kresean, treasurer; Mrs. B. Douian, warden; Mrs. M. A. Stuart, conductor; Mrs. Vera Sturm, inside guardian; Mrs. Nan Denver, chaplain; Mrs. Mike Brisk, right supporter to the no-ble grand; Mrs. Pete Sayatovich, left supporter to the noble grand; M'rs. Thomas Nerdin, right sup-porter to the vice grand. Eleven members were present. Mrs. Mike Brisk had high score at bridge. Miss Shaw was former-ly employed at Sturm's cafe and Is & graduate of the Bingham high school. Mr. Domgard is an employee of the Utah Apex com-pany. They will make their home in Bingham. o. COUNCIL GRANTS NEW LICENSES, OKEH BILLS FOR MONTH OF JULY i $ 638.26 in bills and payroll ac-count of $661.25 was approved by the city council Wednesday evening. Beer licenses for Safeway store and Steve Amicone were granted. An application for a grocery store license by John Stevens for a shop at 518 Main street was granted. Joe Madsen, auditor for Bees-le- y and Wood company spent Monday and Tuesday in Bingham auditing books of the city the first six months of the year.- A report of the audit will be given the board within a week or so.
