The refold story class has been dramatizing the story of "The Three Bears'' and "The Three Little Pigs". The youngsters are very fond of this and most of them have overcome their stage O Playground Happenings by Alida Thomas Two interesting events have been held at the playground. Re-cently a bubble blowing contest was held. The children were di-vided into groups according to their age. Points were awarded to the players who blew the larg-est bubble and to the person whose bubble remained intact for the longest period of time. Last Friday a doll contest was held. Points were awarded, for the old-est doll, the originality of the dolls costume, the daintiness and prettiness of ihe doll. Mary Lou Lyons won first place with her doll which had belonged to her grandmother. The age of the doll was seventy-fiv- e years. Many dolls of various nationalities were re-presented. Next week the child-ren are looking forward with a v Mrs. L. II. Turner had as her guest this week her brother, LbO Ferguson of Los Angeles, who is turoute home after a trip through, the Panama cunal.
