that yielded values between 1300 and 2000 and from the upper tunnel shipments will begin within a few days With two sources from i which to extract ores the management expects to make a rapidly through the winter months Nevada to Sink Shaft A meeting of the directors of the Nevada Ne-vada Mining company whose property Is at Galena Nev was held yesterday afternoon In Salt Lake and It was decRied de-cRied to at once begin the sinking of a shaft to the 100foot level which will he pushed to completion without delay The management was much encouraged by the report of George B Earnshaw mining engineer submitted at the meeting and giving his findings from I a recent examination the property The report states that the companys I holdings consist of 250 acres through which runs the mother lode of the dls I tilct lying 1 between shale and quartzite conglomerate In the main workings there la estimated to be In sight 20000 tons of ore averaging 2 SO in gold G ounces of silver and 9 per cent lead Then a twelveInch streak carries S In gold 292 ounces of silver and 42 per tint copper There are also oChcr showings of copper and lead The ores are suitablefor reduclidh by wet concentration con-centration and a 100ton steam plant Its it-s estimated for 75 cents a < ton Bingham and Eastern M L Tucker secretary of the Ding ham and Eastern Mining company Don whose Bingham
