Mayor Thompson Approves I Mayor Thompson yesterday approved tho appropriation of 700 for clearing out and deepening the canal from First North and Eighth West streets to the Hot Springs a distance of two and a half miles He also approved the con tract for supplying valves and hydrants let to the Mines and Smelter Supply company the 7roposition to put p board fence around the Thirteenth East street reservoir and to change the grades of the streets in that neighborhood to conform to the grade of the reservoir
