Show Veteran Democrat Appointed to Finance Commission '''''',v ' "jjj jj ' REP. JOHN D. ROWBERRY Gov. George D. Clyde this week appointed a veteran Democratic Demo-cratic Legislator to the three-man three-man State Finance Commission. He is Rep. John D. Rowberry, 57, of Tooele, who has served in each session of the Legislature since he was elected in 1948. Rep. Rowberry will take over the $7,000 a year job Feb. 1, replacing re-placing Richard P. Lindsay, who resigned to take the newly-created position of manager of the Utah State Public Employees Association. Rep. Rowberry's appointment will mean he must resign his position in the Legislature. His term on the Finance Commission will end March 1, 1965. |
