Show BURNED TO DEATH. Little Ruth Marsh the Victim of a Fire Ig-nited by Her Own Hands. SHE LINGERED TWELVE HOURS. During Her suffering o Physician Was Called to Allay the Dreadful Pains Which Racked the Frail Little Lit-tle Body. Four-year-old Ruth Marsh was fatally burned last night. The dreadful accident occurred late yesterday afternoon in the rear of the lumber yard at 358 West Eighth South street. The child had set fire to some weeds in the rear of the lumber yard from which her clothing took fire. Before help could reach her she was burned fatally, although al-though she did not die until 7 o'clock this morning. The child was allowed to suffer from the time of the accident until death eame to her i relief at 7 o'clock this morning, and not I nntil this afternoon was the coroner notified. The coroner's jury returned a verdict that the child came to her death from burning, caused by her own hand, near the lumber yard of T. J. Angell & Co. |
