After a few preliminary ijuestious he was asked: "How long have you been a resident of F.ureka:'" "I have had my family there for the last two years, and I have been there myself for four." "Are you Well acquainted witli the boundaries bound-aries of the mining claims within the. town-site town-site application, and witli the buildings and oilier improvements that have been made thereon ':" "Yes, air." "Have you made a personal examination ol these buildings and grounds to ascertain the improvements now on each of these miainf claims, and also tlie buildings placed thereon prior to tlie mineral location'"' "Yes, sir."
