Show BRICKMEN'S EXCHANCE. They Organize and Adjourn llr.r Till Monday Next. The meeting of the hrickmakers nnd bricn contractors advertised for yesterday yester-day came off at 3 o'clock in the Wasatch building. There' were twenty -six interested in-terested parties present, comprising representatives of all the. principal brick concerns in the city. W. A. Tud-denham Tud-denham was chosen chairman, Mr. Frey secretary and .Mr. Siinpkins treasurer, treas-urer, of the temporary organization. A very unanimous sentiment prevailed, and it was decided that an organization should be formed to lie known as the Briekmen and Brick Contractors' Exchange. Ex-change. The following committee on organization was appointed: Messrs. Siinpkins. Curley, Oliver. Hayncs. Col-leu Col-leu and Duval, and they were requested to have their report ready at the next meeting, to be held Moudav, January 5th. All the brick men feel that this is a step in the right direction and they expect ex-pect a great deal of good to tho trade to ilo w from the new exchange. |
