Mc-Gill, Mc-Gill, regional supervisor for the states of California, Oregon, Washington Wash-ington aud Utah said upon his visit to Bingham, Tuesday, January 21st, "The extent and severity of communicable com-municable diseases was determined by a study of health records," he said, "but it is necessary to go into the home to secure data ou the exti.t aud severity of chronic diseases nnd physical physi-cal impairments." j The present survey will give the national, state and local health authorities auth-orities accurate information on the extent nnd severity of chronic diseases dis-eases in the communities and their relation to the loss of time from employment em-ployment during the year, the re-gimal re-gimal supervisor explained. "Therefore," he said, "the government govern-ment has made the survey a part of .its WPA progam. with the funds for its execution appropriated directly direct-ly to the U. S. public health service. "The Bingham survey is progressing progress-ing satisfactorily, with many workers already in the field, and completed findings are being forwarded to the coding office at Oakland.
