Show STRIKE IN BLUE JAY CON stateline Stat eline oracle george E teasdale the blue jay mines manager was in stateline Stat eline the first of the week and reports the mine mane looking much better than it ever has in the level where they have been drifting for the ledge a cross vein was encountered that is highly mineralized and Is the junction of two big veins it is without doubt the most important strike that has ever been made in that property A small vein has been encountered in another drift but it was deemed advisable to leave it for the time being and crosscut cross cut for the junction of the two veins thereby insuring a richer find with a larger body oi of ore A greater part of the work this summer h has as been the upraising raising up in the ore chute but now the work will be confined to the level alone in drifts and dinzes mr air teasdale is very jubilant over this new strike and expects work to go on a larger scale this winter he says he intends to make a mine before they build a concentrator as he cites many instances where mistakes have been made by erecting a plant to treat the ore that was never found mr teasdale left for the mine last i tuesday acco accompanied m danied by joe bryant with a load of provisions |
